Data Scientist

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in systems engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as data engineering, mathematics, statistics, probability operations research, engineering management, computer science, information science, or related STEM degree program; or Mid-level work experience as a Data Scientist

Required:

Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Expert – 18+ years’ experience) TS/SCI Clearance

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Photogrammetry, Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert level work experience as a MS&A Engineer.
  • Expert working knowledge of photogrammetric principles and the application of such principles to solve geospatial problems, predict geospatial performance, and improve the accuracy of geospatial data.
  • Expert working knowledge of photogrammetric sensor modeling, community standards for sensor modeling, and the application of sensor models in solving geospatial problems.
  • Experience working with standards bodies, such as the Community Sensor Model Working Group (CSMWG), and the geospatial community on the design, prototyping, transition, and application of sensor model and metadata standards.
  • Experience improving geospatial accuracy using registration, data adjustment, and optimization techniques which are rigorous, consider a priori data accuracies, and provide updated error estimates post adjustment. This includes defining methods to convey the results to the end user using standardized data formats.
  • Experience modeling the absolute and relative geopositioning accuracy of data using rigorous error propagation techniques. Includes the applications of sensor models to direct geopositioning from sensor data and to the accuracy of data after rigorous data adjustments.

Desired:

  • Experience applying photogrammetric principles and techniques to overhead, airborne and/or terrestrial systems used by the DoD/IC.
  • Experience applying photogrammetric principles in support of Research and Development activities in the DoD/IC.

Systems Integrator: (Senior 12+ – 18 years’ experience) TS/SCI Clearance

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
  • Senior-level or higher systems integration experience working in government or industry integrating large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.

Required:

  • Expert system integration experience in government integrating large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating both within and external to organization, to include with senior executives and leaders.

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Membership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations:
    • ACSM
    • ASCE
    • ASPRS
    • OGC
    • SAREM
    • USGIF
  • Experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
  • Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience integrating solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.

    Functional Specialist/Advisor (Senior Level 12-18 Years’ Experience)

    Overall Assignment Description:

    Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; communications; visual design; human capital; business; and management. Ensures that quality is an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of products or services. Monitors requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.

    Duties include:

    • Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current
    • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
    • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and operational needs to determine mission
    • Consult with customers about commercial software solutions, operational planning, and maintenance
    • Confer with data processing and project managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities for data reporting and metrics
    • Prepare reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and
    • Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for operational restrictions to determine mission health.
