SOAR employees are a group of hard-working, smart, energetic, fun-loving, dedicated, compassionate individuals who not only care about their clients but about each other as well. We believe building strong relationships with our clients is critical to our success. Equally important are strong relationships with our teammates and our community. We value these relationships and believe it’s what has made SOAR Management Consulting a great place to work!
Our passion is reflected in the results we provide. We love what we do and we are enthusiastically committed to our clients, partners, team, and community. By maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit, SOAR is empowered in taking unconstrained ownership and initiative in applying traditional and non-conventional methodologies. Our progress and success in our mission to provide unparalleled solutions is propelled by an intellectual curiosity, driving our professionals to find innovative ways to create individualized solutions for our clients.
Over the years SOAR team members have donated their resources in service to non-profit organizations addressing a broad spectrum of community needs. We consider it our duty as responsible citizens to invest our time, our money, and ourselves to create a lasting impact in our community. We feel so strongly about this that we provide our associates with paid time off to support their favorite charity, believing that it’s the right thing to do for our associates, our company, and our community.

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
TAPS is the national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources for all those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one.
Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
TAPS provides a variety of programs to survivors nationally and worldwide. Their National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp has been held annually in Washington, D.C., over Memorial Day weekend since 1994. TAPS also conducts regional survivor seminars for adults and youth programs at locations across the country, as well as retreats and expeditions around the world.
SOAR is proud to support TAPS and recently gathered to “tag” Klingers, the plush horse that resembles Klinger, the Caisson horse who works in Arlington National Cemetery. The plush toys are tagged with a TAPS label and sent to the children of military and veteran families who have lost a loved one. For more information about TAPS, please visit www.taps.org or watch the video at https://youtu.be/Jdyvmi2JgjA?si=WxIWVdHiJb0bsOJe.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is an official day of service and celebrates the civil rights leader’s life and legacy. Observed each year on the third Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. In 2022, SOAR participated with Volunteer Fairfax to create Valentine’s Day cards for Fairfax County Public School teachers and staff as a way of thanking them for all of their hard work. Volunteer Fairfax is working towards a goal of 5,000 cards and SOAR is helping them get there!
Britepaths’ mission is to provide the Fairfax County area neighbors in need with short-term safety-net services and empower them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency.
Britepaths has been providing help and hope to struggling residents of the Fairfax County area. Similar to a business, we provide a service to the community called social impact, believing in the effect an organization’s actions have on the wellbeing of the community. Britepaths serves more than 7,000 households in Fairfax County, approximately 11.5 percent of the households who live at, or below, 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
Britepaths’ services are designed to help individuals and families in the Fairfax County area who are struggling to make ends meet, often living paycheck to paycheck. Any kind of unexpected expense, such as a car repair, rent hike, or medical expenses, can throw them into a financial crisis. Our primary offerings Stabilize Families by providing short-term food and financial assistance and Build Resilience by providing mentoring, classes, and longer-term guidance that help families help themselves out of their crisis and onto a path where they can plan for a stable future. Our Supports for Children provides supplemental food at participating schools, school supplies for students in need, and holiday meals and gifts for children, relieving financial burdens and providing hope at a time when families are in crisis.
SOAR’s Response to COVID-19
In March 2020, the United States almost overwhelmingly came to a screeching halt. During this unprecedented time many businesses, large and small, have had to redefine their future with no clear understanding of what that looks like. Our employees, like many, are overcoming daily technical challenges while working at home, helping to home school their children and grandchildren, and contending with their own anxiety of a global pandemic.
We are proud of our hard-working employees! They have stepped up in a big way by producing top-notch products for their clients while earning outstanding accolades, almost exclusively from home. We look forward to getting back out in the world, but for now we will continue to work hard for our clients and enjoy the camaraderie of our friends and coworkers!
